I can imagine Sir Mick making a solo appearance, but not the Stones - definitely not Keith.

You won't get much change back on your investment.

Not Keith.

Will Harry be invited, with or without Meghan?

Stones - not a chance!

With luck they'll be playing somewhere else in the world that day. Who knows, another date for a cancelled show at Hanging Rock?

But, even though I'm not the tiniest bit a fan of Queen (the band) giving (Sir) Brian May the opportunity to repeat his guitar playing on the roof of Buckingham Palace escapade should not be missed.

PS. This really ought to be marked as OT?

Well, doesn't Keith already have experience of those gigs... Or maybe he thinks one was enough...

Good call.

But perhaps, as he's more experienced than most at singing in the Abbey, he could firm up on a gig during the actual ceremony.

Well, the poor boy part certainly does not apply anymore. Maybe some adjusting of the lyrics will do the trick ?

What makes anyone think Charles would want them to perform?

Good call. I sort of pity the guy. When his mothers reign began she was a young woman who had something going for her and the whole thing probably didn't look half as idiotic.

Imagine....

Sir Mick, Sir Elton, Sir Van, and Sir Paul...a supergroup if there ever was one...they could do an updated version of We are the World!
They could even add Sir Bob Geldof, and end it all with a sizzling guitar solo from Sir Brian May as they light up the buildings across the nation.

Could be the performance of the century...

You needed to add a 'wink' emoticon, or something like this grinning smiley to indicate that bit of sarcasm lest someone think you're serious!

If it’s going to be an all-Knight choir, we need Eric Idle out of retirement to take care of the lyrics. winking smiley

Perhaps a Rutles reunion of the remaining members?

All I want to hear at the coronation are bag pipes, some drumming, and a choir
