I cannot afford to buy a Mercedes, which happen to be my favourite car...

Would you sell your house for less than market price, in case a potential buyer couldn't afford it. Would you?

I find it interesting that us fans from the USA now get to watch the European fans scream about ticket prices the way we did back in April and May when WE were buying our tickets! There really is no good excuse for the EXTREME PRICES! We all know it's bleeding the fans, only the very wealthy have no problem with the prices. I do want to see one more show in the winter before they leave the USA but I am having a tough time justifying it to MYSELF! I am looking at $500 for one seat, one 2 hour show and I have to work DAYS to earn that too. I am not seeing enough set list variation at this point to justify that amount of cash unless after the holidays they add a few more tunes from ABB and a few old gems. Wish I was rich, I'd not complain, I'd just go!

They play the Mercedes commercial on the main screen before the show is "ffcially over. Get over with it. Life is too short. There is noting you can do about it. And evey time you worry life is shortened by 1 minute or so. Not really worth it.

Êees says: "Well, in the end ticket demand will proof whether the Stones are overpricing themselves or not. I think they do, judging from the poor sales of ABB."

"Poor sales of ABB" in Europe? You must be kidding. Also, don't forget, the Stones are very popular especially as live act. They sold 98% of their tickets in the USA, where the sales of ABB are truly poor.

I don't they're TOO bad this time around. I am delighted (obviously) that for the UK at least (which is a country reknown for rip-offs in all respects) the ticket prices are the SAME as for the Licks tour; namely top price category £150. I DO think £150 is a horrible horrible price, and I think it was a rip-off in 2003 and just about as much of a rip-off in 2006 - but at least they haven't taken the piss and INCREASED the prices yet more. But I don't know about the rest of Europe, because I only saw one show outside the UK on the Licks tour. How do the prices THIS time around compare to Licks 2003 ? Are they the same, or have they gone up ?

I've seen them 13 times since 1990. I won't go this time for sure - with these ticket prices they can kiss my ass!!

Debra - I bet you could fly to Barcelona, Budapest or Athens, stay in a nice hotel AND see the Stones for not much more than you'd spend on a US ticket, once you've factored everything else in.

Why not see them in Europe next year and get a nice summer holidy at the same time!

Just don't bother with UK because they have gone down the same route as the US and got rid of GA in return for higher ticket prices.

well you can't see them in Budapest apparently as they charged too much to put the show on no one will take it

the ticket prices for most shows on the continent are expensive but not too outrageous

the prices for the UK shows, however, are a disgrace. And I note that there appear to be quite a few in the £150 category for Wembley which arent even on the pitch (and to add insult, you cant even see where exactly they are, as theyre allocated at a later date as the stadium isnt built yet). London seems to be getting the same treatment as New York, ie a higher proportion of the maximum priced tickst compared to other venues.

You couldnt make this up if you tried!

Pauly, I think the key is not that the top price hasnt gone up so much, but how MANY of the tickets sold for these shows are in that £150 category. I would bet that the percentage is much higher this time than on Licks. That was certainly the case for the US shows

What might have got you a seat in the stands for £80 in 2003 may in fact cost you £150 this time around in many cases.

Unfortunately they never print a colour coded chart showing what parts of the venue is available for each price.

I agree with most of the comments re. ticket prices, i very nearly did not bother at all but settled on 3 £60 tickets for Wembley plus £27 admin fee plus £4.95 postage! Amazing.

What is even worse is that even though tickets are not on general sale yet there are already loads for sale on e-bay at hugely inflated prices and people are stupid enough to bid for them !

I was planning to take the wife to Europe too but they can stuff that.

Sorry about the moan, not normally like me but sometimes surely enough is enough

I spend a fortune for the trip 6 concert to the States and one concert in Calgary. And I got the blast of my life. May be I am bankrupt tomorrow, but I have seen them once again and they're really kicking hot (for my oppinion). As For Europe we will be moaning anyway on everything. Ticketprices and what ever.

If you would wait and just travel around Europe without a ticket a guarantee you will get tickets on the spot for half the price on the day of the concert.
Maybe you're not front row. But this time it's anyway much better to be in the middle.

For me I would prefer seated pitch anyway, then I would also have a better chance to see as being pushed in between hair and smell and sweat, but anyway don't comment on it know that most of you have a different oppinion.
