That's something different, they do not wish to receive non-addressed mail, like advertisements and sales stuff. You can send an addressed mail to them, they will open and read it.

Just try it - maybe this above described NMI-list is similar to the private [Robinsonliste.de] in Germany.

When you write on the letter & envelope by hand, draw a nice T&L-logo on it and mark it as fan-mail, then it might get read by Musidor.

Obviously not through Promotone... Bill was actually very responsive if you wrote to his Ripple Records address. Plus Bill and Charlie used to live in small villages in France and the UK - if you knew these locations and their postcodes, mail was usually delivered to them, even if you did not know the exact addresses...

Look, sending fan mail to Charlie directly was mentioned in countless threads on here years ago. Do a search and you will find those threads. They are still up.

All I was saying is there is no need to go through a management office in another country while a direct address can(could) be found online with a little help from Google.

It should be no secret Charlie was very good in answering fan mail.

They wrote to them directly in the UK. Not through management.¨

From what I gather, Bill has since stopped responding.
