Maybe at the recent Elton show? He was there and she sang with EJ.

The second picture in the Instagram slide shows a studio mixing desk with a Stones pick lying on it.

Add her to the list of possible collaborations for the new Stones album....

Jimmy Cliff and Alice Cooper dropped by the EMOTIONAL RESCUE sessions. Tom Petty, Iggy Pop, and Billy Idol dropped by the UNDERCOVER sessions. Tom Waits and Tom-Tom Club dropped by the TALK IS CHEAP sessions. Sometimes, artists drop by the studio to listen to a work-in-progress and they end up contributing. Most times, they're just listening.

Agree thumbs up smileys with beer Maybe they're planning a documentary featuring different comments of friends in the studio too

All those albums are decades old though, and times have changed....

There was also a time when there were hardly any special guests on stage with the band, but in recent times they've had dozens of special guests.
That work model could carry over in to the studio, and it might be the only way a Stones album will ever get finished - lots of outside input.

Not many on-stage guests in 2021-2022 for obvious reasons, interesting to see what happens next year.

While I’d love to hear a Dua & Mick Collab, I’d hope it’d be on a Jagger solo record or a B-Side perhaps. Or maybe they’re remixing an old Stones song and going to release that much like she did with Elton John’s Sacrifice.

Mick dropped by a Drive-by Truckers recording session in Memphis.

These collaborations is a smart way for the dinosaurs to connect with the kids and stay on the charts. It hardly adds anything new though.
It's just a way of polishing old music with a new lacquer. Usually a successful receipt. Ask Sir Reginald.

The Stones have not managed to do that for at least 40 years (connect with the kids), so if they actually do that that would be something. Or it could be that the mentioned motive in explaining their doings is just another conservative Rolling Stones fan myth. An alternative explanation would be that they actually enjoying doing things with younger colleagues. And like recognizing that there actually are people coming after them and working in the same business as them and that the music business and trends didn't end 60 years ago when they were competing with The Beatles or that any respected or 'worthy' colleague should have graduated in Delta or in Chicago and paint the ceiling.

Elton John is now totally relevant for all the kids again due to his many collaborations with young artists. Ask someone under 20 if they know Elton John, they all do. For Elton it totally worked out.

With the Stones I would prefer new songs though and not repolished and remixed old songs like Elton did a lot.

Great version - though I gotta say I prefer Dua Lipa's version.

On top of that you have to consider that was probably not even "full out", just a rehearsal compared to doing it Live at the Kennedy Centre, WITH Jeff Beck.
