Yes, bravo Marocco! They play with a lot of heart.
Anyone here from Marocco?

Great to see another upset!

Have to be impressed with Morocco, exceeding many expectations. They are the last non-European or non-South American team standing. And to think that the only goal they have surrendered thus far was an own-goal to Canada makes quite a strong statement about their defence/goalkeeping.

One of the best games of the tournament so far. This was the best display of defense I've seen. In the PK's the Spanish goalkeeper committed too soon for the kicks and Morocco had some easy goals. On the other hand, the Morocco goalkeeper waited until the last moment before committing to the play and got some clean blocks.

Cristiano Ronaldo with the sub bib on for Portugal. He is not in the starting eleven. Can the Swiss pull an upset? Doubtful, but anything is possible.

If you miss 3 penalties in a row, then it's over and out. Regardless. Congrats to Morocco.thumbs up

Professional players, playing the big leagues, making a couple of million euros a year (just a guess), some of the considerably more than that,
- and you can't come up with better penalties than those the Spanish team just showcased?

Finally a surprise. Also good news for England or France. All kudos to Morocco, Switzerland and Portugal, but the route to the final is a bit easier now when Spain is out of way.

Well done to Morocco for a really great win.

I'm going for Switzerland to beat Portugal, as Ronaldo is not my favourite player these days with his interviews having a real bad taste about Man.Utd.

A beautiful header by 39-year-old Pepe gives Portugal a 2-0 lead.

I'm afraid it's close to impossible cos the Swiss are not inspired at all.
Portugal is quite good even without Ronaldo.

Ramos 3-0. Over and out.

I must admit that Ronaldo is not the team, and the Portugal team are playing great and as I'm watching, score is 4-1 to Portugal and they are playing as a team really, really well. thumbs up

Ramos 5-1. Without Ronaldo. smoking smiley

Five to one, baby
One in five
No one here gets out alive, now
You get yours, baby
I'll get mine
Gonna make it, baby
If we try

Portugal leading the Swiss 5-1. Renaldo enters the game at the 72' with a commanding lead.

Holy shit - what a performance by Portugal! I didn't expect that coming!

Developing... France, England, Argentina, Brazil and now Portugal seem to be in a great shape. All having the potential to win the whole shit. Interesting to see what happens.

My guess is that Argentina will win; not because of Messi. The the Dutch just have a weak team.

Hi guys, back to business !

Argentina is the favourite but I can't exclude a big surprise so ...wait and see.

But I really can't see a surprise for Brazil vs Croatia, impossible, no way, out of question !...Brazil win

I think Brazil and Portugal will go through. Argentina vs The Netherlands is harder to call, but I'd wager that Argentina have the edge. It could be a close one.

England vs France is the big one and will probably garner the most talking points. As a proud Englishman, I just hope we can do it.

I've got the Netherlands winning (after regulation) and Brazil (in regulation) today.

And pumped for England vs France tomorrow! Cannot wait.

I got a feeling he will be, complete with baseball cap and England scarf. We're doomed.

France vs England is to me the tightest game of the 1/4 finals.

it's 50/50, each team can do it and it might get up to the penalty session.

Come on France !!
