In my opinion GRRR has one of the best sound mixes of the many "recent" live releases. In particular, Mick's voice is highly prominent, and it turns out his vocals are remarkable.
In other recent live material it seemed like he was losing his voice capabilities and in some cases just going through the motions with minimal effort, but on the GRR tracks his voice comes through as powerful and on the mark.

Received my cd/dvd combo pack. Did NOT receive the print of Ronnie’s set list that was promised if you purchased it from RS .com. Anyone else have the same result?

Highly disagree, his vocals sound very strained here like he's trying far too hard. In later live releases like Havana Moon he sounded far more relaxed like he was singing with a more open throat.

Was the setlist included in your order confirmation?
At [TheRollingStonesShop.co.uk] the BR/DVD/CD/LP + Setlist is an extra order.

So it’s actually cheaper to order the red vinyl with the litho than to order the red vinyl by itself!?!

It's just with US-$: 79.99 LP-only vs. 78.99 LP+Setlist. In EUR or GBP it's €59.99 vs. €75.99 or £54.99 vs. £64.99.

Had a chance to listen to this one over the weekend. I agree with the person who said that all of the guests detract from the flow of the show. I can completely understand what that poster meant, and I tend to agree. There are some botched notes as well - most notably at the beginning of PIB. Not really sure what they were starting up there. Was almost as if they were tuning guitars more than playing the opening chords. But I enjoyed the 2 new songs, and I also thought Bruce did a fine job on TD. I also enjoyed The Black Keys song. Haven't watched the BluRay yet. That will have to wait a long while til I have a place and can get that all set up again. All in all, an OK release. I think they have better live albums, even from the modern era, and I probably will only revisit it periodically from time to time.

I got the Blueray / CD pack and I watched it over the weekend. I really thought it was an entertaining show and in particular I thought the mix was great. I probably won't ever listen to the CD and it's a shame they always seem to package these as a CD/DVD or CD/BR mix because it's a bit of a waste. No doubt the combined packaging is something to do with marketing or chart positioning.
