You dont see a whole lot of Elvis threads here.... but heres a killer alt take of "How The Web Was Woven" from 1970 where he delivers the proverbial goods. Totally eclipses the George Harrison produced cover by Jackie Lomax from the same year. By Elvis standards, very stripped down and contemporary (for 1970, that is). Wailin!

Head to head match up. The Harrison backing track is pretty great, very "All things Must Pass" vibe but Jackie is no Elvis...

Just watched the remastered bluray of 'Elvis:That's the Way It Is' from his Vegas residency in 1970.
Absolutely killer band featuring the legendary James Burton on guitar and although some consider it 'the beginning of the end' for Elvis, he does deliver here and rehearsal footage shows him directing the band to his vision of song arrangements, proving he was more than just a singer/performer.
