As has been said a few times, I don't think he's actually chewing gum...LSTNT movie or otherwise.
I think it's part of the act, stage character. Maybe some kinda macho thing, who knows.....but not actually chewing gum I don't think.

Hmm, I'm reconsidering...maybe it is fake chewing, a schtick in his performance. Like, see how cool I am (we know, we know), I can chew gum and sing and dance at the same time. "Start me up," (chomp chomp...)
