Jagger and Warhol "first met in 1964 at a party for the Rolling Stones in New York to celebrate the release of the band’s debut studio album The Rolling Stones":

Beautiful. Such a short tragic life as happened all too often back then. And still happens some.

Thanks Rock

She looks like a completely different person with the short hair. I’m a huge fan of Warhol’s art but admit idk much about him or it really. I’m going to have to look up and see if his movies have ever been released on dvd or Blu-ray.

I sometimes think you could take any 6 month period of Mick Jagger’s life and make a movie out of it, yet the gravitas of his friends from back then like Andy or Lou Reed, Bowie etc doesn’t really exist today.

Imagine how bored he is with most of the people he meets in this generic age we live in.
And those women back then, holy sh…
He still does seem to find some interesting people though, that writer he attended the thing for in NY a couple of weeks ago was interesting and I think I saw a picture of the ballerina touching the back of her head with her toes, so there’s that.

Voodoo - if you have Netflix, there is a very good series about Warhol. Good starting point to learn more about the artist and the man.

By "that writer," I assume you mean Tom Stoppard who wrote the play Leopoldstadt that Mick attended. Interesting yes, writer of the most Tony awards for "best play" on Broadway. Several of us here saw and wrote about his show "Rock 'n' Roll" a number of years ago. Most of the score was songs by The Rolling Stones.

I believe Mick finds quite enough interesting people these days though the 60s and 70s were heady times indeed.

Thanks DEmerson! When I get a TV again, I'll have to look that up. Currently I don't have a Netflix acct.
