No, this wasn’t in regular circulation at all. The only TOTP performance on Honky Tonk Woman in circulation was the ‘Christmas Special’ version, which I recollect is in colour. This B&W version pre-dates it and is - as far as I’m aware - only circulating as a feature in this European programme. Is it from Denmark or Sweden. The original BBC version is evidently ‘lost’, alongside alongside everything else that was wiped from the archives in the 60’s. An absolute shame.

The audio had been circulating on bootleg, but not very commonly.

I believe he died overnight July 2 to July 3. Still surprised they would have filmed this just hours after finding out he passed.
