Could someone who keeps statistics count how many songs from the current album The Stones have played each tour since 1969? 69-70 Let It Bleed, 71 Sticky, 72 Exile, 73 "GHS" etc. So far they have played six from "ABB". Right?

hey jk,

try: www.timeisonourside.com/index2.html

they should have most, if not all, of the info you are seeking. scroll down the page halfway.

hope that helps!

i'm pretty sure that SG '78 tour will be the winner, as they played all but 1 or 2 from the SG album on that tour.

Thanks winter. Also I think SG will be the winner.

On the SG tour they played every song except for Before They Make Me Run and the title track. Keith was still playing Happy in his slot. It got its live debut in 1979 when he was playing with the New Barbarians and the Winos played it in '88. It didn't get its live debut with the Stones until 1989. The title track wouldn't get a live debut until 1999.

These songs have been played off of the new album so far (just for reference):

Rough Justice
It Won't Take Long
Rain Fall Down
Back Of My Hand
Oh No Not You Again
Infamy

yeah - they've played 6 songs, but two of them look like they may be permanently out of the rotation and aside from Infamy (yawn) RJ and ONNYA are the only ones getting almost-always played. a pity...some of the better numbers on the disc have been completely ignored.

Yes, Let me Down Slow and SOL have been ignored so far, which is for the latter not understandable. I take Let Me Down Slow for a song in the vein of Dead Flowers. Maybe better. Maybe we have to wait for Europe.
