Nice little 8mm clip from Seattle 10/14/1981. The intro is longish, but worth watching.

Mick’s outfit was really something else on that gig! :-)

The complete show is circulating on video. Unfortunately the audio is getting more and more disturbed as the show proceeds.

Wasn't one of the Seattle shows a broadcast?

I know I have a DVD of this concert. I think they changed a song or two from the standard set list.

The creator used one of my 1981 photos from MSG at 4:19. I guess I'm flattered. I posted all the good ones in the "1981 wardrobe" thread around 2018.

i don't think either was broadcast

maybe a couple seconds on the nightly news

but both shows have complete professionally filmed videos in circulation

14th

15th

i belive these videos are sourced from the feed to the big screen

but the audio is recorded by a camera man who apparently recorded the whole tour or something close

but the audio for the 14th is very distorted and there has yet to be a better source available to replace it

here's another show like these

houston

and this very long one of detroit is one of my favorites it's split into four parts spanning nearly 4 hrs and was filmed for the show inside & out and has tons of backstage footage

inside & out

great footage all, thanks for posting.

I see The Complete Works no longer lists Star Star being played on 10/14/81 but I believe it was and is missing from the film, and not circulating anywhere. There is a definite edit point where it would have been played after Hang Fire. The Ultimate Guide still lists it, and it was played at most shows until they went to Orlando.

I don't supposed anyone was at the show at remembers for sure if Star Star was played or not?
