For how long will they pause now?

I guess the probability for a new album this year, or even the next year, is very slim. And a tour coming up before spring 2023 would be a surprise. So what are we
looking forward to the next eight (or something) months? More merchandise? A new re-release? Solo material from Jagger - or a new movie? Or what?

they will pause until the next show. But for the next months I guess it's quite save to expect nothing (besides some more merch stuff)

Some re-release by Xmas to capitalize on the 60th. What about the 76 Paris shows that have been rumored for ages?

I think No Filter shows from Paris 2017 are long overdue, as last official live video with Charlie. There were rumours about all 3 nights being filmed for a live DVD/BD/cinema release.

Well just look at these lyric video's being released on YouTube, why bother with old material, well known, lyrics one click away? because your about to release something old

With the lack of any substantial tour rumours on the horizon, and the supposed new album stuck in a never ending limbo of ever being completed, expect more nostalgic rehash from the past.
There's plenty of that stuff for years to come - some great, some not so great. In the meantime, probably just more lyric videos of oldies as the band bides their time until the next adventure...

I have to admit that in a blind taste test, I can't tell the difference between posts.

I understand what you're saying, though wonder why they've never done an official deaf taste test.

Why do the other senses always take a back seat to sight?

only we, the fans, can feel the pause. Time is like water, but the stones are the sea. They wouldn't notice it passing.

You, you, you make a deaf man hum.

Misheard lyrics are always best.

I wonder if ABKCO comes up with something more than just that single boxset for their 60th anniversary. I would love another vinyl boxset of their 60's catalogue. The in Mono one is out of production (and far too expensive).

As for Universal/Eagle Rock.. I wonder how well the last New York show was received. I skipped it, and I'm not that interested in another 90's or 00's show to be honest. I would love another classic album + bonus tracks release. Steel Wheels or Voodoo Lounge would be great. Maybe even Dirty Work or Emotional Rescue.

yeah, I've read it, but still no official announcement...

I'm quite the sucker for colored vinyl normaly, but for these 60's records.. Naaah, should be black as coal.

The more I thought about it the more a super deluxe Black and Blue seems credible. With so many auditions and guitar players, it might have some treasures in there. That's about the last Stones album with any potential as a super deluxe.
