I'd love to know if the Stones ever played a show colder than the one in Chicago in 2006, at below freezing (30 degrees F).

Looking back it was crazy but if there was ever a test for a love of a band it was that night. We knew we were all crazy, we knew the Stones were crazy--it was a crazy situation all around. Bundled up, with as much clothing as you could fit. This was truly testing the "Rain or Shine" rules. The guys were all covered up, Ronnie wearing fingertips-less gloves, Mick yelling he couldn't feel his feet. I can't imagine the Stones ever forgot that one.

The hottest shows I've been to were both Desert Trip weekends in 2016.
Not unbearably hot, but damn HOT...it was at least 100+ F. daytime (apprx. 38+ C) maybe even hotter, and only slightly cooler in the evenings.
Shows were in the Fall (Oct.), and thankfully not August...the Southern California deserts can be brutal in the summer, and the dry desert heat can take it's toll...

Grateful Dead at Compton Terrace 8/18/87. Did the summer tour and we drove from Telluride Colorado to Tempe in a Saab with no air conditioning. Driving through New Mexico and Arizona with windows open was like having a blow dryer on and closing the windows and it was like an oven. We arrived in the heat of the day andthe temperature was 114 degrees. By showtime the temps had dropped to 104. I don't think the temperature dropped below the mid 90s the entire show. After the show ended we drove all night to get to Park City Utah which was interesting for reasons other than the heat.

The final concert of the Stones in June 1999 was special: They played an incredible performance in the driving rain of Cologne; Mick Jagger was brilliant, as was the interaction between Keith Richards and Charlie Watts.

Bangalore 2003 - caught in a monsson.

The hottest and coldest I ever attended was Knebworth 76. During the day the temperature hit over 30C and one of the hottest summers of the 20th century in the UK. But my 9pm the temperature out in the Hertfordshire countryside dropped rapidly and caught out all those dressed in only t-shirts and shorts. It was freezing. The temperature drop also caused 10cc's synths to go out of tune and led to the 3 hour delay in the Stones taking to the stage. (There were also other reasons!grinning smiley)

Hottest show for me was Telenor Arena in Norway in 2014. No aircondition (they still don't have it!). Even Mick commented on it.

The wettest show I attended must have been Bergen 2006. Then again, it always rains in Bergen, so that was no surprise smiling smiley

nijmegen 2007 was very very hot during the day. But then hell broke lose and lightning even struck the stage. Van Morisson played 3 songs and then left (and never returned)

Now that I think of it, every single time I've seen them the weather has been largely the same (perfect summer days between 15°-25°) no matter if in London, down south at the foot of the alps or Scandinavia. Small afternoon drizzle maybe once but that place had the roof closed. how exciting

Whenever someone posts about a possible Stones Fall Stadium tour starting in October, and Chicago is listed as a stop, I always think of Chicago 2006! Band was miserable and Charlie looked like he just wanted to throw his sticks into the crowd and leave from the get go. My favorite memory of Charlie and why we will never see a Midwest Stadium show in late Fall ever again.

Budapest and Bucharest 2007 are definitely among the hottest shows ever (over 40C/100F!). And it was merely 9 months after cold Chicago night in 2006!

Funny enough, I never had rain show although I had a lot of show days where it rained the whole day. Then shortly before the Stones hit the stage the rain always stopped except for some little drizzle during the show. Must have to do with that rain stick of Keith.

Sarsstock was pretty hot. Water was in demand. I remember people passing out well before The Stones took the stage.

You say caught in a monsoon - there are two monsoons - dry and wet. Dry monsoons are windy, dry and hot, wet monsoons are windy, wet and cool.
