It's a eulogy really. I try to read Rolling Stone now in the library and I may read a tenth of it. They had an article a couple years back on who they picked for the grammies. I hadn't heard of one of them. I felt old. I read it next year and none of the previous were on it.
I just don't think music has the impact it did. It's certainly not well rounded. It's autotuned hip hop or nothing. So he sold the brand, made big bucks, and lives like a sultan. Isn't that what rock and roll was all about?
