He designed the iconic posters for the New Zealand and Australia shows in '73. It's one of the better tongues designs imo. In the years since the tour, the Stones have used his script design on several occasions. https://www.nme.com/en_au/news/music/australian-visual-artist-ian-mccausland-who-illustrated-for-the-rolling-stones-and-skyhooks-has-died-3286793

Ian McCausland and John Pasche between them designed my absolute favourite posters. A kiwi 1973 poster is the ultimate 70’s Stones collectible bar none. Much love and respect.

His poster of the 2014 (never happened) Hanging Rock concert took me by surprise. Nice to add to my Hanging Rock 2014 history "book". In fact I missed both Hanging Rock concerts that year due to two both sad events. But, together with my wife and (at that time Aussi) daughter dide climb Hanging Rock and learned about its mysterious past.

RIP Ian McCausland.
