Isn’t that what we do here? Look at the 2023 tour thread and the new album thread.

Good idea, I've bee wondering why the 2023 Tour thread hadn't been renamed or locked...still something they can pull off at the eleventh hour maybe ?

So 2024...ok, but a bit like for McCartney, these guys are *really* getting old now and time clearly isn't on their side so it's a bit hard to understand why they're not playing live shows when they still can. Even if it's not the massively lucrative US Tour they had in mind they could surely have had their team set up something elsewhere ?

Wondering if a late winter/early spring US tour (Feb-March) would be possible in covered/closed/domed stadiums. Weather wouldn’t impact closed stadiums. That way, they wouldn’t have to wait till June 2024 (over one full year from now). Or, do they prefer to tour in the summer if possible?

Any rumors about possible warm up bands?

Willie Nelson is still touring at 90, we could see the Stones 70th anniversary tour in 2032

40x5 Tributo Bar has been mentioning recently that the Stones will be playing in Argentina on 2024, so maybe they will tour North and South America next Spring

To bv, Topi, those in the know —

Now that it is confirmed that the boys won’t tour this year, might I ask you to let us know the planned initial itinerary of the Summer tour 2023 that was to start from Glendale AZ, June 6, and finish in Philadelphia PA, August 1? I’m curious to know.

Ah, okay…disappointing, though.
I can understand you couldn’t publicize it when the tour was ready to go, but it was then postponed to Autumn and now it’s scrapped so why can’t be made open I wonder. And part of the dates and locations were openly available even then. It’s old news now, after all.

It is old news, yes, but I just don't want to be that person. I promised my source not to share it publicly and I'm going to honor that promise.

Anything is possible but the Stones play high octaine rock and roll, me thinks that's it as a band touring, not expecting anymore from them, don't want to see them sitting on chairs playing, better to remember them as legends.

That last gig in Berlin, that's how i want to remember the three of them, going out with a bang and not a whimper.

Posting rubbish like "Any rumors about possible warm up bands?", at a stage when there is no tour announced, is simply spam, taking up space, and treating IORR like a rubbish bin. It is like a cat using up 8 of 9 lives on meaningless activity.

It is very simple. As a moderator, I have to read everything posted on IORR. The more rubbish the more work. I may delete rubbish, I may delete access. One day IORR will be closed, because it takes too much time. It is not rocket science, it is just human, and it takes no more than a little bit of respect and common sense to understand that this thread is not the chip shop thread.

I think the touring stadiums thing is done. There is no need to try and put on a full blown stadium show when the band is in their 80's. Running up and down ramps at an age when most people are either deceased or in nursing homes is simply illogical. They all have generational wealth so their is no need to carry on doing large scale gigs.
Now, if they choose to play some arena or theater shows while they can that makes sense. Now I know I know prices would be exorbitant and I could never afford to go. But they could film some shows and release something. And I think its something they would enjoy doing.
Just my 2 cents.

True. And if you look at Ed Sheeran - he fills stadiums just with his voice, guitar and a loop station. No running up and down ramps. And his gigs are amazing. From now on everything with the Stones is a plus. So I am happy about anything they throw out there.
