If it is an injury, a revised Aug 1st (or 2nd) kickoff would be a more likely new opening date than later in the fall. Similar to Chicago '19, when the closer became the opener after Mick's heart issue.

The Stones would usually have a run-through on the big stage for an Opening Night, needing more than this window would allow for a show on 8-1 I'd guess...

The FB page seems to be a test page, it is not on the official FB pages of Lincoln Financial Field. This is how the test page looks like, text wise, as seen from Europe:

An injury could be anything from a pulled groin to a broken hip. Hard to guess at recovery times and rescheduling.

I don't understand why there are so many strange comments about new albums and tours here in the "Tour 2023" thread.
Fact is these are the Stones albums with Jagger/Richards songs over the past 30+ years. Every time they started touring in North America:
Steel Wheels (1989)
Voodoo Lounge (1994)

A Bigger Bang (2005)
Blue & Lonesome (2016) was a blues-covers album, proof of the fact that for every rule, there is an exception.
What happened in the 70's and 80's is not that interesting, it is now 50 or so years ago. Their main market is in North America, very simple.

there is too much uncertainty about everything. The Stones were previously set to announce a June/August tour last week. The announcement was canceled and the cause is not understood. This has generated a lot of concern among the fans because we are talking about people who are in their 80s. Concern seems legitimate to me. Then there are zone rumors about that someone an injury. The concern grows even more. In all this situation on ticketmaster check a possible concert in August. It's all too confusing

As I just posted on the GNR thread, Guns n Roses just announced a world tour for this year, with US dates in the Fall including Fenway and Wrigley. If there is a shortage of crew available, I wonder how this will now impact the Stones' plans with GNR, Bruce, and many others on tour as well......
