Not too shabby for a tour debut...would have been nice if it had been played at every show, but it does add some extra icing to the cake for this one.
Thanks for the video Matt.thumbs up

After watching the show I have the impression that Mick Jagger gets homesick, musically spoken.

What a great tour! I am so heartbroken that I had to miss it, but following along here was some consolation. Congratulations to The Rolling Stones for 60 years of the best rock and roll music in the world!

Because I was about 20 meters from the stage, watched Jagger and listened to the music, if that's the word you want to hear. I wonder why Jagger still does this.

You'll have to elaborate further. Not sure I'm following. What music is Mick homesick for since this music was his first "home" so to speak.

I have to elaborate nothing to you. But ok, it was obvious to me that Jagger was there to do his job, entertain the people, but at the same time was aware of the fact that he was backed up by crap and singing crap. I could see it on his face expression that mirrors the quality of the music.I got the ticket for free so I sleep well. winking smiley

Sweet Jesus, what a show....

I don't think Keith was this good from 2012 onward...

I saw Madrid and Paris this summer, but this was the best of the three, altho other two were awesome too. Tonight Steve rocked and everything clicked hard.

Good lord, what a band.

Coincidentally--to me, anyway--just yesterday, I was looking into the most "Exile" songs stacked into a single set in recent tours (of the 5-6 still in rotation). There were these same four in Detroit in 2015. Damn near an "Exile on Main Street" 50th anniversary feature!

Reminds me, I was recently doodling with the 15 song setlist we got in 1972 (saw 'em in Norfolk) and counted six Exile songs. Do you know if there were ever that many again? My guess is unfortunately "no."

Hey there! I am admittedly overly focused on setlists, so I did manage to piss away a good hour or so looking into which songs they played awhile back. Here's the last time they played songs from Exile--there are a few surprises, and some never heard live (updated today - corrected - thanks Georgelicks):

1. Rocks Off (2022 last night)
2. Rip This Joint (2003)
3. Shake Your Hips (Never)
4. Casino Boogie (Never)
5. Tumbling Dice (2022 last night)
6. Sweet Virginia (2022)
7. Torn and Frayed (2002)
8. Sweet Black Angel (1972 once)
9. Loving Cup (2014)
10. Happy (2022 last night)
11. Turd on the Run (Never)
12. Ventilator Blues (1972 once)
13. I Just Want To See His Face (Never)
14. Let It Loose (Never)
15. Stop Breaking Down (1994 once)
16. All Down the Line (2022 last night)
17. Shine A Light (2017)
18. Soul Survivor (Never)

Oh, do you mean he feels nostalgic for the old days when he sings the songs? (Sorry if I don't understand too well.)
