I read some advanced reviews of this book over the last couple days that weren't very favorable. Looks like a hit piece focusing on excess & scandals. Sadly, because of the subject matter, it will probably be a good seller (LOL)!

This one has been out in the UK for some time (with a different cover - early photo with Brian and Bill present) - I bought it in Liverpool the week they played Anfield. Gossipy, several blatant inaccuracies but readable. More concerned with Stones as cultural 'icons' than the music.

Has he always been monogamous while travelling around the world with Xwinos and Stones for years?

That’s a fair point. I suspect it’s because Keith, to the average person, simply isn’t perceived to be interesting in that regard, where as Mick very much is. Mick is the singer and lothario; Keith is the decedent, druggy and drunk guitarist.

I’ve always heard that Mick had a fling with Bowie well before the 85 collab. And what about Lennon??? Back in the late 60’s-early 70’s Mick was very androgynous looking and most folks tried different things.

actually i've come across a couple threads on iorr from 2000 and 2001 on the wayback machine about keith being seen out on the town with various women

it would seem in 22 years on our little community has here has matured past the point of speculating on who's sleeping with who (or so i thought)

as for mick i wouldn't be surprised if he experimented in his youth but i don't think he's bi or pan sexual (his numerous affairs with women and 6 dozen or so kids sorta exclude the whole exclusively gay idea to me) but even if he was it would be none of our damn business unless mick wanted it to be

if we really must start a rumour mill can we please make it about a new tour or album and not who's in who's bed

Well, let’s be honest, here: both The Guardian and The Daily Mail are equally awful and are rightly vilified, though be it, for differing reasons. Generally, if I buy a newspaper, it’s usually The Times.
