We kind of know what the great 125 Songs are. I think there are 250 great tunes at least followed by another 100 very good tunes. Most diehards agree consensus among greats etc. Its the middle tier level songs that suprise me on how many view "weaker" tunes. Of course there will always be flukes, own taste etc. but these are the interesting views to me.

That being said the weakest on Tatoo You is very very hard for me. I guess it'd have to be Heaven. I assume if all polled on board that would be one most selected as well. Many or 2nd place would probably be Neighbors but I like that tune. & 3rd weakest voted by all would probably be Ain't No Use In Crying.

I'd guarentee those would be the 3 weakest selected in that particular order if cross sample of lets say 500 to 1,000 fans.

I think this album more than most would be difficult to have a large margin "weakest" track winner. It'd be Heaven but not by mass margin I believe.

For me I'd agree Heaven but isn't really Bad or dud. Many albums are far easier to pick the "dud" or what most polled would view as weakest. What say you is weakest on Tatoo? Am I right on what most would cite these as 3 weakest. I say most. Yes I do take into consideration the delusional oddball who'd pick those as the top 3 but they'd be an anomaly. Wow I picked that word???? MEZ

I wouldnt have said that 20 years ago, but I think over-familiarity hasnt helped, plus the fact that its a song that simply isnt as genuinely great as the other songs generally regarded as warhorses.

Its a great, great riff and an ideal choice as a single, but certainly nowhere near one of the better songs on the album...

I dont think theres a weak track on the entire album, to be honest.

Its also the greatest SOUNDING Stones album of all time. The mix by Bob Clearmountain is absolutely brilliant. Especially the drums. He did an amazing job on what is a collection of songs taken from sessions spread over several years in making them sound like they were cut at around the same time

I agree Gazza as one of best sounding, production, mixing, etc & esp since tracks pulled from different timeframes. Also that its hard to pick a really weak track from Tatoo. They are really all fairly to mostly very good MEZ

To me this sounds "made to order" or forced. Jaggers vocals tend to wear me down as it is more yelling then singing.

For me, there are no weak tracks on TY. In its original form, the album, each side was for a different setting. Both sides were/are great in their realm.

Neighbors is kind of Stones by numbers. Vocal is not pleasant. I love the rest of the album.

Neighbours is the worst track by a mile. Heaven is a great atmospheric track - i always enjoy it.

Slave is clearly the weakest track. Would have been a lot better shorter, but still weakest.

Agree! My vote goes to Hang Fire. The only thing on HF that makes it worth to listen to is ronnie's solo with the b - bender.

Neighbours and T&A are by far the best trax on the lp.

I don't agree with the critics to Start me Up. It got over exposed, but it is not its fault.

Heaven is the weakest track. Slave and Little T+A are the strongest.

Black Limo is one of the best bluesy tracks they did in 30 years.

Never liked Black Limo. The slow side is perfect.

Neighborts by a mile. Never liked the song. Far as SMU - I never liked it either. But I realize it is a true great rocksong. Almost like an archetype rocktune.
