As for Pit being "oversold" it sucks to hear that but it might also be a case of people beating the "system"...In Lyon the ticket only got scanned at the entrance and that's not where they put the Pit wristband on your wrist so...

Viagogo? Serious? That's a scalper site and should not be taken as a source for crowd sizes.
I had a short walk to the bathroom in GA after Ayron Jones and people were Standing way to the back of the field (near the Eiffel Tower Replica). To me it looked more like 60.000 or even 70.000 people but I think we should wait for some official numbers. If they indeed oversold it we will never got those numbers...

I bet that there were far more than 55.000 people.
Hyde Park was officially 65,000, but the second show was allegedly oversold by at least 5,000 (and certainly felt more crowded than HP1) so that makes Longchamp 70,000 maybe?
Not a chance. I estimate a similar crowd to Hyde Park so maybe 60,000. I was at the Malieveld show in The Hague in 1998 with 86,000 and last night was nothing like that.

I wonder if Keith ever has someone drive him past Nellcote when in France. For old times sake. I have a picture of Ronnie in a car in front of the Nellcote gates from years ago. I probably got it from here on iorr.

From the looks of it, Keith's finest show. This tour has been Keith's triumphant return. Sharper than 2021. Hope he can keep it going for a few more shows!

When the tickets went on sale, the newspaper "Le Parisien", wrote that "some 100,000 tickets" were going on sale, but that was for Lyon and Paris combined, the way I read the article:

The show was incredible. My last show on this tour, after Madrid, HP1 and the canceled Amsterdam.
As I read before, Midnight Rambler was a highlight. Wild horses was increíble too. And personally, Keith played my two favorite songs. You got the silver and happy. I really love them.
About the sound, Mick was complaining about the mic volume lot of times. And I felt him a bit angry with the crowd.
In the pit B the people was like watching a movie. Probably because the French people doesn’t speak English very well? Maybe the connection with the songs was not so easy?
I don’t know, I noted how Mick tried to revive the crowd lot of times. Also, in some moment he threw the guitar at an assistant. I interpreted it as a gesture of anger.
Well, the venue was great. An open space, with food options and a bit bad connected with city centre.
In summary, I enjoyed the show a lot. Probably I feel more comfortable with other crowds like the South American or Spanish or English audience. But, well… it was a dream anyway!

Anyway aside from the crap venue, poor logistics, abysmal organisation, slow LD pickup, endless queue and 101 other complaints, I thought it was a very good performance, driven along by a resurgent Keith who looks happy, composed and confident, knowing he’s playing as well as he can. Keep it up big man!
