Happy heavenly 84th birthday to Ian Stewart. The Stones were never the same after Stu' death. The boogie-woogie sound he added with his piano enhanced their sound on both the studio session and live performances. Besides his piano playing, Stewart was a confident and contemporary of all the members. This gave Stu the opportunity to offer criticism and praise to the Stones that they accepted. Kept them grounded. So moved where the Stones that they dedicated "Dirty Work" Lp to his memory and played the Ronnie Scott private gig in his honor. To my ears, the stones have never been the same since his passing.
