I saw this on my news feed on my phone.
I wondered why am I getting this nonsense on my google news feed?
... So I clicked on "show fewer stories like this" or something like that.
If I want to get any news about the Stones, I know where to look: iorr.
I don't need google to tell me that this old story about Henry Winkler is something that I give a sh!t about.

I think restaurants and crosswalks are the worst places to run into someone. Maybe if he approached Mick at a charity event or something it would have been a different story.

My girlfriend's uncle told me a story yesterday that he was at a function on a private island and had a great chat with Ronnie Wood. Said he couldn't be more normal or humble of a person. Mick was also on the island and her uncle ended up playing tennis next to Mick, but essentially you throw your tennis racket onto the ground and get paired up to play with strangers and Mick was doing just the same. He could have opted to only play with people he knew.

I think it was just an unfortunate time and place for Winkler. Also, who knows what Mick was going through that day.

Well maybe Fonzie should have used his publicist to contact Mick's publicist in order to get permission to say hi to Sir Mick ? Can you see how ridiculous all of this is for a stupid silly greeting to an idol ?

It's probably because he sang on a Neil Diamond song for a live album.

i doubt Mick knew who he was; it doesn't even seem like he introduced himself.

I met Mick once--at a Chris Jagger show at the Bottom Line in NYC. I've told the story on here before, but the short version is i walked past his table during the show, leaned in to shake his hand an said "Mick i cant sit 10 feet away from you all night with out telling you what a big fan i am" He said "Thanks" and shook my hand. I moved on before any body guards got involved (as i'd seen earlier in the night!), and left with a nice encounter memory.

When I saw this headline, I thought it was going to be a completely different story.

Thread got me thinkin' ... if Stones were Mayberry characters:

Mick - Andy
Keith - Barney
Ron - Goober
Charlie - Floyd
Bill - Howard
Mick T - Leon
Brian - Earnest T
Stu - Gomer
