Today I came across this superb show on Youtube, and the sound quality is sensational!`At first I thought that the well-known Brussels recording was published erroneously as the Birmingham show but these are clearly not the Brussels recordings so the venue is to be supposed correct! Does anybody know what source it is?

Indeed the sound quality is great but it sounds more like it was recorded with one or two microphones. Especially Bobby comes in much louder than Taylor.

Great show and a favorite of mine regarding the 1973 european tour. Same excellent audience quality than the wembley 8th september show.

yes very good audience recording maybe a matrix of two recordings if not love to hear what equipment was used because for the early 70's this is exceptional

but definetly not a soundboard

I went to the 2nd show, I still kick myself in not going to the first show as well but probably couldn’t afford it even at those prices has I had just left school.

Billy Preston was the support act and he was brilliant, this was my first Stone’s concert and the rest is history.
