Aside from the goofball count in (which I assume is Chuck), probably the highlight of the entire show - very nice. thumbs up
Undoubtedly it's far better than the version I saw with Dave Grohl at Anaheim in 2013 - he basically destroyed it, and not in a good way. Come to think of it, glad they haven't tainted any performances yet this tour with any unnecessary guest performances. Pretty sure there were none in 2019 or 2021 either, at least not at the shows I attended. Maybe musicians like Eric Clapton or Buddy Guy or Bonnie Raitt would be welcome as they've done amazing guest spots in the past, but the likes of Dave Matthews, Grohl, Axl Rose, Ed Sheeran, and Justin Timberlake should not be allowed anywhere near the stage while the Stones are performing!

As annoying as it is, maybe they could loop that count in on Bitch for five minutes, and release it as a new song...maybe overdub it on to some drum beats from Steve Jordan.

Seriously though, once you get past the count in, it's a remarkable version and Keith is sounding mean and lean - wish he played as focused and tight on every tune. thumbs up

Best songs of the night for me was Out Of Time, Paint It Black and Satisfaction. Burden and Bitch were awesome too, but those three were absolutely stellar. I haven’t heard a Satisfaction that strong since my first show. STRONG Keith riff in that one.
Unfortunately I was sitting at the upper balcony all the way down by the railings, which turned out to be one of those dead spots. The sound sometimes didn’t ring out all the way like it should, but that’s more the place I was sitting rather than The Stones’ fault.
A very enjoyable trip, where we stayed in Leuven since Saturday and we’re out and about in Brussels all Monday. Went to see the Manneken Pis and learned that the Stones’ hotel was 200 meters from there. It was jam packed with people trying to see them. I got pretty close, and saw (and filmed) Bernard, Chuck, Darryl and Karl leaving. Waited an hour but no Stones showed.
We walked towards the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch, and briefly met Jini Sachse sitting with friends at a sidewalk cafe. We hugged and said hello. She’s always so nice. I’ve met her in London 2007 and Berlin in 2014, and she simply doesn’t age. Always a wonderful fan to meet.
When at the venue I was sitting outside with my dad taking it all in. It was a hot day and I had rolled sleeves. Got quite a few comments on my tattoo and many came up and asked if I needed a ticket. One twenty something woman was dressed like a pornstar. You get quite perplexed when she walks up to you and has a very bassy and sensual voice asking if you want to buy a ticket.

Great gig. Not the best of my ten shows, but it’s certainly up there. At my first gig in 1998 they opened with Satisfaction. At my last show yesterday they ended with it. How fitting.

This is odd. All videos seem to shut down abruptly after less than a minute. Do we have some kind of ban in place?

Bandwidth sucked. Minimal at best.

My review was it was the best performance of the 4 I attended in my opinion but by far the worst showtime experience. Bitch was a real treat. Mick was even more animated than usual and Keith was solid. Worst sound and I was in the same spot for Hyde Park 2. Met more rude people today than Rock Werchter, Cactus Festival, and sighseeing in Antwerp and Leuven.

Where were you for the show, daspy? What kinds of rude people, not staying in their spots, talking or what?
Glad the performance was tops.

Mostly staff and security. After few people just pushing through in a rude way. One huge guy and his drunken little buddy although they were denied by others. When I say staff there were two who came to mind. One was a first aid lady carrying bottles of water and when I asked she laughed at me and said no. I was trying to stay in the shade as it was 5:30 and 15 minutes later she was part of a crew carrying someone out after they passed out. The second was another security guy who told me to wait for him (in the sun) while he got someone. After awhile I gave up waiting and saw him sitting at a chair at a gate that was locked. There were a couple who did help but most didn't care.

I was on Ronnie's side straight back from the line array at the end of the catwalk. Personally I think itsa Brussels thing since my time in Antwerp, Brugge, Leuven and at Rock Werchter everybody was nice and friendly and helpful. In the future Brussels is just for transferring from Eurostar. I will go other places.

What a great day, what a great show!

Turned up at 4 for my lucky dips. Teamed up with Thierry my new French friend. He was very lucky cause he got PitB. I got restricted view so quickly got rid of them and time to enter the stadium. Overall very happy there was no real chaos with the Lucky Dips. I got the feeling something was wrong with me in the computer, but instead of making trouble they gave me the tickets.

Pit was very small, smallest I have seen since... well... start of the pit ? Must be due the prices. Kaleo is a bit boring for me. But then showtime!

The first few songs where amazing. SFM and 19th were absolute killers. From the first moment it was clear Mick was really good, but also in 1 song Keith had moved more than Amsterdam in the whole show. Ronnie looked and moved better than before too. The band was in great shape. Bitch was rocking very hard. Keith was fantastic. Song vote was my only 'first time song'. Would have loved Far Away Eyes. But this one was beautifull too.

Keith's set was really nice. Very good connection. Midnight Rambler was epic as always. All of them in top form. Loved every second of it. Start me Up is the one song I don't like steve's drumming on. Not sure what's going on there, but it's just weird for me. Gimme Shelter was very sloppy. But all the other songs were amazing. Left before the encore to beat the traffic. Still have nightmares about Werchter and getting home 8 hours later (1 hour drive).

Only negative of the night was that the sound was low in my opinion. Amsterdam was extreme loud. But I liked that better than this.

What I liked most was that the band was really enjoying themself. This was the only thing missing in Amsterdam where Keith and Ronnie did not look happy. Keith and Ronnie but also Mick where VERY happy yesterday.

What a great night in Pit B. Made some great new fans, mostly the big friendly and lucky Frenchman Thierry!

On to Paris !

terrific in real life.

It was a great show. Jagger was Amazing. Keith perfect until he smokes something during Miss you. The sound and mix was way better in Munich. But for my second gig on this tour, it's definetly one of m'y favorite european tour i Seen. See you in Vienne!!!

Keith didn’t smoke "something". Let me remind you - marihuana is a medical product. Do yourself a favour and read some scientific research on how hemp smoking works for your body.

Lol. I don't know if you've ever smoked a joint but at least I get pretty high from that stuff. That it can serve to ease medical conditions doesn't change that.

Not sure what you mean. Keith was great in Amsterdam. No off night by any means. Just didn't look happy, a bit down and standing still for all of the show. Yesterday was very different. But both nights he played good guitar. It's just an observation from my side.

I don't know, I thought he played way better too. He was solid on Thursday with some nice moments (Can't You Hear Me Knocking), but nothing that came close to his playing on Bitch for example. Even played decent Sympathy solos this time. smiling smiley

i agree bitch was fantastic. But in Amsterdam also Rambler, Knocking etc where really great. In PitB guitar of Keith was very low on Tumbling Dice. Loved both shows but if Keith and Ronnie look happy, it makes me happy too.

Got Diamond Pit A+B (Lucky Dips) for Brussels - GREAT !!

At the stadion entrance Diamond Pit we got 2 a little different bracelet. No favor by the staff. But we both went into A. It was not too difficult to manage it by ourselves.

That reminds me - I don't know if this has shown up on any of the videos yet. When Mick did the dedication to Charlie before TD, after he finished the crowd started chanting 'Charlie! Charlie!" for 30 seconds or so. It caught the band by surprise a little bit, I think, and looked like it genuinely got to them. I saw Keith looking up at the sky. Definitely brought tears to my eyes. The dedication, even if genuinely meant, has become a bit formulaic now - last night felt like it really meant something.
