Sasha has been back for HP 1 & 2 now - she sang Shelter on June 25th and most likely did the same tonight. Chanel smashed it in Milan when Sasha was unavailable - LOVED her performance - but this is Sasha's gig and I can't imagine the Stones bringing her back to duet w/ Mick while Sasha sings backup w/ Bernard.

Not only "these days", IMO... Since the 90s I consider the Stones version as 100 times better than any Bob's live nerveless "meow"...

I really like GOMC as an opener vs SFM..

GOMC was really quiet and a bit underwhelming as an opener but after that it was brilliant… they were really relaxed and obviously enjoying themselves and Keith was really on good form

LARS was pure magic - not a wasted song
Sounds like possible oversell of tickets - 65k+5k versus 40k for Adele last night.
Such a brilliant mix of nationalities, even more so than ‘usual’.
They were in great form again

They certainly mixed things up in the first half, and the lady I overheard saying that Angie was her favourite and she'd cry if they did it... well, it must have made her night.


From HTW to the middle of Keith's set rather overshadowed by a fight breaking out in my bit of GA, but once security and the first aiders had sorted things out, the rest of the show was great. Keith on blistering form.

Just waiting for the train. More when I get home.

Gotta say I liked HP1 more, but tonight was fun as well. Great sound and view at the soundboard.

Yes, me too. HP1 was much better, but still enjoyed this one.

Excellent version of Like a Rolling Stone. Steve's steady drumming fits really nice on this one.

HP1 made me feel euphoric. Tonight’s show didn’t for whatever reason.

“Anticlimactic” is the word that springs to my mind.

Even though I missed being up close, I really enjoyed the show and I thought they were all on great form. The sound at the back of Golden Circle was fantastic and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. I liked having a new opener (for me!) and I enjoyed the LARS singalong. I'm not a huge fan of Angie but it was well appreciated by most. Mick was in good voice though seemed a bit lost with the set list from time to time. He was still game for another round of Sympathy who who's when Keith crashed into Satisfaction. But overall they were working really well together. Ronnie was great too. I thought he looked emotional at the end. I always wonder if it's the last time in London (the 203rd show, said Mick). I hope not, but if it is, it was great.

Agree, I feel the same.

The sound in Hyde Park was excellent tonight. Loved hearing ‘Angie’. A little disappointed I never got to hear ‘Living in a Ghost Town’.

Thought that was excellent - changed up setlist, massive screens, great views from about 15 back, centre GA. Second of three after liverpool (which was also excellent, felt Keith was much better tonight tho and solo-Ed more on sympathy)
Belgium next (but back down to London at the weekend first for 2x pearl jam)
