Very poor packaging from amazon. 12 SHM's all sliding around in an envelope.

Considering I spent about $50 for delivery, that really sucks.

Don't seem to be damaged that I can see though so there's that.

For the Stamp Collectors amongst us, there is a 7-inch version of One Plus One coming out next month. I wrote about it on the Sympathy thread. I can't tell if it's official or not. I really hope it is, but if not, well...it's still a pretty cool looking package!!!

I presume there is some sort of algorithm that is alerted when the shipment 'date range' has passed, that then alerts Amazon to follow-up.

So for instance for me, on Nov. 5 (maybe a couple of extra days grace) they'll look into it as it should already have been delivered, discover it ain't coming, and delete the order.

We shall see. Has anyone's order actually been cancelled? I'm happy to hang onto it for awhile, even into 2023. It's not like we've been charged for it yet.

The only thing that seems unusual is that they haven't straight up cancelled the order. I guess either because these are all automated and at some point a human will enter into the picture and cancel, or, they are awaiting a reply from ABKCO.

In either case I think if this eventually shows up it won't be until after the Christmas season...maybe they'll try and coincide it with a new album release in the spring?

You must have placed your order for the pressing of your vinyl at least six to twelve months before a release, that's how long the waiting times are, now you can see how long you must wait before that new record from The Rolling Stones have a release, while they are still mixing it .

Indeed. But a company like ABKCO would surely be 'in the know' on things like wait times, coming out of the pandemic this was hardly shock with all the press on 'supply line' issues.

Somebody jumped the gun and that's how we got the superdeluxeedition.com article, which was quickly taken down. I don't understand though how a company like Amazon or WHS lists this on their website for sale. They actually have a price for it...which means they got that info from ABKCO as well.

Just a very strange set of circumstances to be sitting here almost 6 months later as we've far passed the release date and still with no info on the product and with existing placed orders not cancelled.
