THE DAY AFTER THE STONES SHOW IN BERLIN - TIM RIES:

Tim Ries and his Rolling Stones Project, with Bernard Fowler and support musicians, are booked at the ZIG ZAG club in Berlin Germany on the 4th of August 2022, i.e. the day after the Rolling Stones show in Berlin.

If you want to stay close to the venue - yes. But if you don't mind driving to the hotel in a crowded train after the show I wouldnt worry. Most important recommendation from me: always book with a cancellation option. Bern and Amsterdam showed again why.

I jus threw the dice down and booked a place close to Waldbuhne......80 Euro for the night.....Then they sent me a message saying I would need a Covid test 48 Hours Prior......Did not need anything for Munich so is this the current situation in Berlin now? Any help/Info would be appreciated THANK You.M

i am not worried, last time it was easy, keep in mind they are prepared to manage 70000 people for soccer every 2 weeks. the small waldbühne no big deal!

Bjornulf (bv) how come this one is kept secret so long? Till last night when I looked for the last time on this page, there wasn’t any indication here that Waldbühne was coming. Did they kept you by surprise too?

I'm going to Munich on Wednesday 29 June to see Queen. Round-trip by train from Paris, we're leaving a few hours after the show, so no hotel room, just TRAIN + SHOW.
Do we need any test or vaccine papers at all?!

Nope, but ffp2 mask for public transportation inside Bavaria (0utside Bavaria but still inside Germany medical mask fits)

It depends from Germany's federal state - in Berlin is a FFP2 (N95) mask currently mandatory too in public transport. It is best to check the Covid-19 rules regularly for every federal state in Germany.

I'm on my way home from Milan. I heard on Swiss radio that those who have tickets for Bern will get a right of first refusal.

As far as I remember the whole standing area in front of the stage was "pit".

I think there will be Lucky Dips. When was the last time the Stones didn't offer them for a standalone show? Must be long ago. I only remember Buffalo 2020 (it was said because of legal reasons, show was cancelled later) and Fonda 15 where they didn't have them.

Kinda... I must be the only person who didn't really enjoy the 2014 show. I had LDs and not realising everything other than the floor was a single section, I turned up late to get them, ended up squeezed into the very back row of the amphitheatre (it was packed). Not a bad view certainly (and the flames graphics for SFTD in front of the trees was amazing), but it felt very distanced to me as I am usually in the pit. It being about 37 degrees didn't help (which is why I turned up late).

But it was certainly a unique experience.

PS - looking at the seating map above, maaaybe A-E was one section and F-L another. I was certainly in F-L.

A few questions for the people who went there in 2014:

- Was it possible to choose for the separate sections, or was it all the same price / option. So where section A-E all the same category, FGH, and IKL also?
- No numbered seats I believe? So you have to be early to sit in the front of the section?
- What's the best section to be in? I tend to believe that sections A-E seem a better option than some FOS standing tickets (especially when you're in the back of the standing area? Any thoughts on this?
