Right the best part of it is when "I'm gonna get out" switches to "I'm gettin out"

Goin' Home is a classic. Its an early glimpse of The Stones creativity and imagination, and suggests other greater things to come in the future.....

Going Home is the last track on side 1 of Aftermath, so not an album closer. (Unless the cannibalised US version is different to the UK release?) Interesting to see 'How Can I Stop' dividing opinion. (I love it)

Lots of great closers come to mind (Moonlight Mile, Slipping Away, Fingerprint File) but You Can't Always Get What You Want wins for me.

Least favorite is Soul Survivor. I've always thought that Shine a Light and Soul Survivor should be flipped as Shine a Light seems like a natural closer.

Yes, you are correct - "Going Home" is only the album closer on the US edition of Aftermath. On the UK version, it's "What To Do".
