Definitely the worst stage ever was the one they used at the beginning of 2014 in Tokyo and Abu Dhabi - that was dreadful. Second wordlist only my view was the South America/Australia bigger bang stage

Does this stage look wider that the 2014 stage? And it looks like the screens ar the side are wider too

Compare the picture with my picture of the 14 On Fire tour in 2014 in Madrid on page 1, it's exactly the same setup.

Disappointing - they should have just stuck with the No Filter towers and changed the video stuff

Re: SIXTY Tour new stage

Did not love the no filter. I prefer one shot shown on the screens.

But this seems underwelming

There must be more to it - there was some interview with Mick recently where he was talking about designing a new stage for the tour so maybe it will be a bit more interesting than we think……

Maybe this could have been an alternative:

Is there still hope for a b-stage? Currently it is missing.

It is on every ticket vendor stadium map so highly likely it will be there

to begin with the construction of a b-stage is not very clever since it blocks too much space in front of the main stage

I'd say it's less the question whether the thing will be there, it will, the question is will they actually play down there

right, that's the question. And I guess the answer is: no.
In recent years they did it only in 2019 and why should they do it without Charlie?

Looks a bit subdued and minimalistic - even a bit clumsy. Was thinking it would be something more bombastic and celebratory for the 60th. Something that's groundbreaking, cutting edge, and state of the art.
This could be just the basic framework, and eventually more bells and whistles will be added. As it is, I feel fortunate to have witnessed the great No Filter design with the giant towers - it was all quite sleek elegant.

Maybe it'll look similar to the Hyde Park 2013 stage - but without the trees (different decoration instead).

That stage belongs to the festival.

Maybe - but I liked the wrap-around screens of the HP-stage.

Maybe there's a full size screen in the background like the 1960s. That would be cool to me, like 2012/13.

Ok. They are starting to build the "b-stage" as well. Screens should be interesting.

It appears there will be some snazzy colorful decorative elements utilizing portions of the new tongue design as border for the stage...
Hard to say, but I do see some colorful abstract screen portions on the right side of the stage in the pictures above.

Much higher off ground thsn No Filter. At least from pictures with forklift and people in front of it for comparison.

I thoughtThe Hyde Park stage/ set up in 2013 was pretty cool, with the wrap-around screen. Nothing to distractive, but serving the purpose of giving everyone a great view of the events taking place. I always expected them to take something like it on the road. Maybe this is going to be similar.
But at this stage, this stage looks a bit...umh...

Re: SIXTY Tour new stage

The same as 14 on fire but not with the gold decoration but colors. You can see then idea in the picture before the last one. Just not sure what those “teeth” are in the main screen

No Filter was a big improvement compared to 2014. Altough one must acknowledge that the stage in 2014 had a very different layout depending on venue. But one thing that I admired with NF was that our guys were back to having unique stage setups - whereas 2014 felt like the standard rock band setup (and festival).

The array of screens (?) above the main stage looks interestig. This could be something unique and new.
