Hard to top that, except for maybe an alternate choice for 72.

Hoping Brixton 99(?) gets the official treatment.

Man I don’t even know if I could come up with 10. I’d have to go back and listen to all the vault releases. They’re not really something I listen to with any regularity. Off the top of my head, in no order….

El Mocambo
Flashpoint
Stripped
Brussels
Shine A Light
San Jose 99
Ladies & Gentlemen
Some Girls Texas
Charlie Is My Darling

Does Muddy Waters and the Stones count? It’s not the full band though but I do love that album. If so that’s my 10. Easier than I thought actually!!

San Jose ‘99 is a great release, the No Security tour rocked hard.

Does Ya Yas not count? How is that not on everyone's list?

Ya Yas
Brussels
Leeds Lungs
Some Girls in Texas
Shine A Light (sorry, I love it)
Stripped
Flashpoint
Rock N Roll Circus (even for their brief part in it)
Fonda 2015 (for the novelty of playing Sticky Fingers)
Live Licks

It really did! Probably one of my my favorite tours to this day. It was only my 2nd time seeing them live and still so much of the set was new to me, from a live standpoint. This was well before all set lists were available online to be seen ahead of time (at least to me anyway). And after being blown away by them opening with Satisfaction on the Bridges tour, they turned around and said yeah we’re not gonna play that on this tour. What band could get away with not playing their hit!?! And what huge balls does it take to do such a thing!?!? I loved them even more for it. Still at that time beating their own drum and not falling in line with what should be expected.

Well I think it’s a matter of there just being so many other great releases out there that YaYa’s just slips down the list. For me I’ve never quite understood the fuss about it but then I feel that way about LYL and Still Life too.

I don't have all the live recordings. But of what I do have, here goes:

LAGTRS (love it even with the ruffled production/ sound)
Brussels Affair
El Macambo
Sripped
Still Life
Flash Point

Get Yer Ya-Ya’s Out
Leeds University 1971
Brussels Affair - although I do prefer the bootleg.
Wembley 1982
Leeds 1982
Atlantic City 1989
Brixton Academy 1995
Amsterdam 1995
Bremen 1998
San Jose 1999

Edit: an honourable mention must go to the Got Live If You Want It! EP and the terrific live show that, originally, only accompanied the Charlie is my Darling deluxe release. Is Edmonton (North London) the location? I don’t quite recall.

since everyone mentioned the usual suspects let me add the Roundhouse 1971 "chunks" to the list.

Both shows really deserve a seperate 2-cd release. C'mon Mick, after the Mocambo hammer blow stun us once again! thumbs up

If that show had have been released in full, it'd crack my top-ten, for sure. Going by what we have, I might have swapped it for Leeds University.

Surprised barely one talks about Havana Moon. Sure performance wise it won't keep up with concerts when they were younger but the film is absolutely stunning. It's one of the best concert films ever made IMHO. And they never seemed to have so much fun playing together.

I haven't seen the film, admittedly, but the concert recording is excellent, I must say. One downside, perhaps: it was this performance that first drew my attention to how slow the tempos had become. All Down The Line is performed at a snails pace in comparison to, say, the rendition from the Shine a Light soundtrack.

YaYa's
Some girls live in Texas
The concert from 65 in charlie is my darling
Hampton
La 75
Brussels 73
San Jose 99
El Mocambo
Roundhouse from disc2 in sticky fingers deluxe
Tokyo 90

The live disc from 72 sounds a little too muffled to my ears.

Watch the film Al, it's excellent. Yes they have become slower but it also fluctuates from concert to concert and from tour to tour. Compare All down the line Fonda to Havana Moon, also huge tempo difference but one year apart.

I regret not seeing Havana Moon at the cinema in my hometown. It was shown one night only. Tickets were 30 euros which felt a bit pricey at the time.

Haven't purchased the blu-ray yet but the clips I've seen on youtube look really good. Playing wise it sounds more inspired than Sweet Summer Sun.
