Having recently stayed at a Margaritavilla (tons of Jimmy references from lyrics on the walls to drinks named for songs, etc.), I can't believe the Stones marketing team hasn't done something like this....

BTW, Buffett's place was great.

Jimmy has developed a culture - and a fortune - about having a good time, originally based on ONE SONG!!! It has since expanded to include a ton of songs.

Not something I could see the Stones doing but then again I didn't think it was something Buffett would do either since he was an anti-condo tacky cruise ship hating ganja smoking tequila guzzling "country" Gulf Coast/Florida Keys/Caribbean rock'n'roller.

He also owns a cannabis dispensary, appropriately called Coral Reefer.

When I first saw the mention of Jimmy buffett I thought of the bar in saint bart's back in the early 1980,there was a bar named for him and a killer jukebox and the beer was pure kronberg.. but maybe it was him.. all I know I was there.. and the beer was bloody cold.

It's not specifically about the Flora-Bama, just Gulf Coast bars in general, that kind of 'there's one in your area' beach bar, but apparently was inspired from Hurricane Ivan hitting Gulf Shores, AL, which is near the Flora-Bama, so, for some, it is about the Flora-Bama. It's really just about any beach bar along the Gulf Coast.

The video single was filmed in Bay St Louis, MS after Hurricane Katrina in the remains of the Fire Dog Saloon, which I had visited a few times. I went over there around the time the video was filmed, not knowing JB was going to be or had been there, and wandered around the destruction while doing some interview on the phone with a newspaper.
