I always considered him to be a lightweight among heavies, but a rare (at the time) solo concert I saw him do in 1980 at The Palladium in New York remains one of the most enjoyable shows I've ever been to. He played an intimate club gig near me earlier this year, but it sold out before I even knew it had been scheduled.

Great singwriter; as well as the CSN & Y material, I'm a huge fan of his time with the Hollies. Particularly '66-'68, wonderful stuff from 'For Certain Because', 'Evolution' & 'Butterfly'.

Fantastic show at the London Palladium last night. His band were stellar, particularly the two interchangeable guitarists/drummers (one even played the sax).
Graham's voice was spot on and the harmonies were as close to CSN as you can get. The final song Suite: Judy Blue Eyes was outstanding as was the young guitar player who handled the Stephen Stills parts.

Bobby Elliot, Tony Hicks and Alan Clarke are still very much with us. With that in mind - and considering the marching of time - a reunion of the magnificent Hollies would be appreciated by so many.

Nash is a real tool - I always dug the pop sensibilities he brought to csny, but you know he spent years dumping on Crosby and as soon as he dies Nash has a new album to promote and he is all " well David and I were brothers and even though we weren't talking we were going to reconcile".….bullshit

Nash is a real tool - he spent so many of these last years dumping on Crosby, and as soon as he dies Nash has a new album to promote and he is all "David and I were brothers and even though we hadn't spoke for years the day he died we were supposed to call on the phone and reconcile" right...
.he is full of crap. The main reason their friendship died was because Nash dumped his wife of 38 years for a younger version and Crosby called him out on it

wasn't she dying of cancer or something too when he left her?

oh didn't he also basically disown his kids after they called him out on the way he treated there mother?

That's my understanding. Sounds like a real @ss. All for a piece of @ss. Divorce is one thing, not trying to make peace with your offspring is another.

Absolutely agree. I didn't think this version would turn out as good as it did but close your eyes and it's almost CSN -

That was sweet, no pun intended. Just a reminder that great songs last forever.

I second that. Would love to see a Hollies reunion. They are in my top 10 groups of all time.

Graham Nash is a man who has written some incredible songs, still puts on excellent shows, and is kind of a shitty person.

None of my business that he was kind of an ass to his family, and I knew the second Crosby died he’d pretend the rift wasn’t as bad as it was. Even though he, along with Stills and Young, hated David for things he’d said. Nash never went into specifics why, and the immediate reversal when he died, not just respectful praise for the recently deceased but truly making it all about Graham, was pretty low. The transparency of it rubbed me the wrong way, but I really can’t fault Graham for being the only one keeping CSNY alive. He’s got his good and his bad, as we all do.

Wow, all these negative comments from folks that dont even know Graham is very disappointing.
No one is perfect and we all navigate life in our own way.
Lets not be so judgmental.

I have been fortunate to meet Graham during the last few years, since he moved to NYC.
He lives in my friends building and I have met him several times in the elevator and also walking around the neighborhood.
He always says hello and I have had some interesting conversations with him.

Overall he is a kind person and does not deserve some of these negative comments in this thread.

He has been involved with some of the greatest music of our lifetime and should be respected for that.

He also gave Jerry Garcia his Alligator guitar!
