SMU-Intro in Edinburgh 2018 came close to 'Scarf Me Up' - [iorr.org] .

Thanks ! 4 years ago already, wow...inevitably such incidents are more likely to happen as years pile on.

flub it once - overwhelmed by crowd
flub it twice - shits and giggles
Did you get the impression Scarf Me Up 2 was out of bloody mindedness ><
Thanks for pointing that out. That was quite dramatic.Quote

That is a key point here. Lots of people still get knocked out by covid. The numbers in Germany are going down but are still in the 100s per 100.000. Its not gone.

obviously not (since this is the studio version of that song)

That song hasn't aged well at all, but to be fair it was pretty bad when it was first released.
Thought it was mercifully long forgotten and buried after the Licks tour, and I'm hoping the don't play it - there's hundreds of better choices.

you'd rather have the warhorses?
i agree the studio version is not the best work they've ever done
but i think the live versions are often much more better
i'd frankly be happy with any different song in the set even if it's not there best
back to zero anyone?

I didn't say I'd rather have the warhorses - I said "there's hundreds of better choices". That being said, yes I'd rather hear all the warhorses over Don't Stop any day.
Seems such a waste of space to have the weak Don't Stop in a limited 19 song setlist while there are so many other better choices of neglected, unplayed, or rarely played tunes.
Having seen and heard Don't Stop live multiple times during the Licks tour, all I can say is they were right to never play it again after that tour, and not sure why they would want to resurrect it after all these years.

Love Don't Stop. That's one I would get really excited about if they played it love again
