I agree that it was better with Taylor, but Ron Wood in September ‘02 in Chicago was very, very good. He concentrated very hard, and it paid off. I have, however, also seen Wood seem to toss it off since then, without the same success.

I am personally a big fan of Tumbling Dice, Honky Tonk Woman and Sympathy. They should be played. But most important is Midnight Rambler.

Almost sounded like they were countryfying it, I can see it reimagined. That Fool To Cry was nice....

This is all sounding very promising. Imagine if they dropped Keith's Set (which I usually love) to give some space for some rarer but great songs. That they are rehearsing those songs that close to opening night is a good sign. Most of those songs would go down very well with the audience, even in a stadium.

Can't You Hear Me Knocking never really worked well live (except for the shows w/Mick Taylor), and has been especially lacking since Bobby Keys passed away. It's in my top 10 (or 15) of all time favorite Stones studio tunes,
but without Mick Taylor, Bobby Keys, and now that Charlie's gone...not to mention Keith never being able to really nail the the opening riff live...could be awkward in 2022.

Last time knocking was played live Ronnie also the opening riff at the same time as Keith which beefed it up a little. Maybe Jagger on rhythm also would work well on it?
