Whilst I agree that Tristen is a performer, I thought that he really destroyed this song. He definitely put his spin on it, but it was overly flashy and the showmanship on this one, I think, really did him a disservice. I think if he had done PIB, he would have slayed and would still be going strong.
Incidentally, I'm starting to question America's ability to see true talent. Lady K and the 16-year-old with the voice of a woman well beyond her years are now both gone while Christian and HunterGirl continue on. Shocked really.
At this point, with Lady K gone (I was really pulling for her to win it all), I'll have to throw my weight behind Noah with a fallback to Fritz. I do thoroughly enjoy Leah as well.
