The world is a little less phallic today. RIP to an artist and a legend.

As a child, practiced to be a concert penis.

Made a lasting impression, which is quite hard... Broke the mold.

Actually I'm a 59 year old hetero fat guy. Grew up on the hippy idea of peace and love and getting along with each other. Of course through life I found it's impossible to accomplish. A lot of people are full of hatred hiding behind things like Rock And Roll culture and the ever popular "political correctness". I also enjoy joking around, but here's a woman that's died. She was a super groupie that I'm sure loved her Rock And Roll heroes. She took it to another level that maybe we don't understand. How do we know the guys didn't like the plaster casting. Maybe they wanted it. Meanwhile you're putting her down for it. You could say something like wow that was wierd to me sorry she died, and give a funny comment. Try using your head instead of following the "sheeple" Actually not following the masses was a popular idealogy for me as a Rock and Roll fan in my youth. That's part of the whole thing. Is it lost or forgotten?

When I realized that not following the masses was a philosophy that attracted many young people (i.e. “the masses”), it lost some of the conviction in me. A popular ideology indeed, and a bitter awareness that I’m neither special nor unique. Life goes on —

Her "artistic endeavors" are of another time and place where we thought music and we of a certain generation could change the world to paraphrase a Graham Nash song. It was amusing, a part of rock history, to read of the Plaster Casters in Rolling Stone and similar counterculture publications from that era as your daily news back then wasn't about to publish or broadcast anything about this new art movement. Now, I can see her works becoming collectibles for certain segments of the art world, perhaps ending up a controversial display at MOMA or other museums.
