Let it Bleed - Wembley 82

Am I the only one who think this is Rolling Stones perfection? Six minutes of pure joy. It swings, it rocks, it does everything I love the Stones for. I've just been dancing around the kitchen to it, wearing headphones, and quite honestly I was nearly moved to tears, it's that good.

What a band....

Yeah, great.
I love the version at Olympia Paris that ended up on Stripped also very much.
It's one of those songs that make me happy every time.
Stu is the driving force on the studio album, and in Wembley as well.

Just as long as the guitar plays, let it steal your heart away

It's one of my favorits of the 1981/82 Tour.
I saw them 5x in 1982 and I remember myself dancing and smiling while they played Led It Bleed. The guitars were great, they were swinging, Jagger was great too and it was the first time, they played it live. And not to forget: in 1982 they didn't try to copy their own studio versions yet but played the songs realy live and they sounded different from any studio version.

The 81/82 tour was indeed great. However, the mix here is very poor. No more Sam Wheat, please!

I wonder - 1981/82 was AFTER Keith's cold turkey, is that right? Both guitars were excellent!

Fantastic version. But I like the version from Hampton 1981 a little bit more.

Love this as well. I enjoy the Wembley show from the Tattoo You box more than El Mocambo (I know I’m in the minority) , I have the entire 81 Candlestick Park show as well, same love
