Yeah but you're right. That categorization rhythm and lead guitar only strictly applies to few bands. With most bands it's actually kinda mixed (as with the Stones, even during the Mick Taylor days it wasn't strictly Keith rhythm and MT lead). When there's only one guitarist, there are often elements of lead guitar and rhythm guitar mixed. But people feel the need to categorize and rank everything.Quote
