Karen & Bill here from Texas. We had a great time seeing your exhibit at your flat in May 2018. Super exited to see this HUGE display of your RS collectibles. Will definitely stop by while we are in London to check it out. Thanks again.

Brilliant!
Loved the visit to your apartment in 2018 - and your excellent hospitality...
Will definitely be calling in again for HP2 (at least)
The book was superb - looking forward to even more exhibits in the extra space
Thank you for the generous invitation thumbs up
Cheers

Hi Matt, I’d love to see your collection but I don’t know if you have to ask nicely on IORR, form an orderly queue or what. Ain’t too proud to beg!

I haven't quite figured out the opening times yet but it between the Hyde Park shows it will be easy to come on down. The archive is located between London Bridge (18 minute walk) and Bermondsey (8 minute walk) tube stations. It's 10 minutes walk to the south end of Tower Bridge so ideal to fit in some sightseeing in the heart of old London.

Lot's of people have asked me how much it is... it is free!

Thanks, Matt. Looking forward to being informed of the precise location in due course. When known, will we have to email you requesting a viewing and, if so, will you allow a reasonable amount of people in for a limited time so that it doesn’t get overcrowded?

Matt, fantastic!

Which show or event is that small, vertical poster with the cream-colored guitar from?

It’s a Selcol Big 6 guitar from the same range as the party park, the Electra and the cutaway guitar. I have all four with full original packaging. The orange background is actually a cardboard box / tray that the Guitar was sold on. The Electra packaging is super rare but the Big 6 no one I know has ever seen other than this one. There was a book written about Selcol recently and the image of this piece was one of mine sourced online…. It has some distinctive marks on it. It’s a super fabulous item.

Ellen Spier Trotochaud has very kindly been helping me schedule Archive visits and has made an event page.

If you have questions please email Ellen at etro62@icloud.com or go to this link:

Hot Stuff Archive Event Page

In Ellen's words "We all have been anxiously awaiting the opening of Matt Lee’s extraordinary Hot Stuff Archive highlighting his Guinness World Record collection of Rolling Stones memorabilia. The time has come. Matt will be opening his space on June 24, 26 and 27 and July 1, 2 and 4 between 12:00pm and 5:00pm each day.

The space is packed with 5,000 items leaving only enough room for 12 people at a time. To facilitate this, please request in email at etro62@icloud.com on which day and time you would like to come. We will be confirming your spot.

In the event you have to wait a bit, you will have a great excuse to visit the award-winning Cafe Amisha, 161 Grange Rd, London SE1 3GH just 2 minutes walk away (Matt’s favourite restaurant in the world).

The closest tube station is Bermondsey. Since this space is small and we don’t want to miss any shows, we respectfully ask that you wear a mask when in the museum space."
