OT: Any Fans of the band Tame Impala here?

I’m a music nut, but somehow had barely heard of, never mind actually listened to this band until this past month. And I was shocked that they were playing (and pretty much sold out) the Boston Garden - I certainly didn’t know the were so popular. Timing was not good for me to go, but I’ve seen YouTubes of the show, and it looked very impressive - great light show.
And I say ‘they’, although that’s only when ‘they’ tour - but it’s really a one man show - multi- instrumentalist Australian Kevin Parker.
Some very cool stuff. Their past 2 CDs, The Slow Rush and 2015s Currents are lush, semi techno, listener friendly efforts. Well polished.
The one I like the most though is the earlier InnerSpeaker. More rocking, more guitar. Almost an early Pink Floyd vibe. Just a terrific rock album. Give it a spin.
Any fans here?

Yes. Good stuff. I only have Lonerism, but I enjoy it thoroughly. He’s not new, but definitely one of the newest artists I like.

I saw Tame Impala in SummerSonic Festival Tokyo 2018.
Then at the same slot, Noel Gallagher was playing at the Main stage.
I chose Impala at sub stage. All audiences went nuts.

NICE. That’s on Lonerism - yep, need to add that one to the collection.

My teenage daughters love them and I took both daughters to see them at the Mohegan Sun Casino a month or so ago.

Not my cup of tea so I went to see a comedy show while they were at the concert but the show was sold out and they had a great time.

I like Tame Impala. It's good chill-out music, or as something to have in in the background when I'm working.

TP fans should check out the band Pond. Former (maybe current?) members of the TP touring band. Some nice psychedelia from down under.

Listened to their albums a few times and really 'wanted' to like their music, but it's not for me. Too much 'dreamy' music. Don't hate it, but nothing special for my ears.

Lonerism is my favorite album from the 2010s

Saw them live in 2019. Great show.

Saw Tame Impala in Victoria Park, London, last night, Thursday headliner of All Points East festival. Last (and only) time I saw them was at the Manchester Arena 2016. I wasn’t impressed that much then. This time I was. The whole presentation of the show has graded up by miles.

The visual are as essential as the music they played — the light show was so mesmerizing. If someone in the audience of the Fillmore or the UFO club 1967 who were treated to the rather primitive light show back in the day had been time-slipped to last night, they would have been freaked out by what they saw.

Was this a performance where they did all of Lonerism? They're doing that at the Desert Daze festival in California. Iggy Pop & King Gizzard are headlining the other days. Pretty decent festival if you're into that sort of thing.

According to setlist.fm, they played 5 tracks off Lonerism in Manchester so not the entire album.

FYI last night they played:
