I've listened to it twice. I really enjoyed it a lot! Slinky and dark. I love the music and Mick does some interesting vocals late in the song. The ooh refrain is nice and catchy. Easy to dance to. I love it.

I want more! It is time for the Stones to drop a whole album!

Yeah just heard the entire tune now...a bit repetitive, and sort of goes nowhere fast.
Might be a good show though as Gary Oldman is a mighty fine actor.

Its ‘okay’ It is what it is. Knowing it’s a theme for a television show, I can’t view it as any more than that.

I’m curious as to whether I’m alone with this: is anyone else here unsure about Jagger’s present-day recording-vocals? He sounds so very effected; almost unnatural. It’s as if he’s ‘putting on’ a voice.

I know some people do. But to be honest: 'Knocking on Heaven's Door' is most likely the most overrated Dylan song (I don't say it's a bad song but it's overrated)

I don't think in categories of "overrated" and "underrated". In the end, it's all just music. I like a song or I don't like it. This one I like very much.
