What happened?
Heavy rain and thunder and lighting during Van´s performance and that what the reason they stopped his show. The audience had to sit instead of standing during that poor rain and thunder. And just before the Stones had to play the rain and thunder stopped and they played a great show
Liam would be great but he is probably too big (again) nowadays what with 2 sold out nights at Knebworth an' all. But Mavis and Liam: Now that would be a great combo before The Boys hit the stage as this SURELY is the last tour in Europe ever....
Oh man, if this is true, I really hope he will also be there for some other shows that I am at
really would love to see him as a support act 
He will be touring with Guns 'n' Roses this Summer. He will be with them in Poland on June 20th and play a solo gig in Brussels on June 22nd.
It's not impossible, but doesn't it seem unlikely that he will go to Milan to play with the RS between these two concerts?

Considering that acts such as Stereophonics and the Pixies are opening other Hyde Park shows this summer, I’m hopeful the Stones will get an equally decent opener. The two mentioned might entice me to enter the park earlier and get a better GA spot. Gary Clark Jr isn’t that enticing, if I’m honest. I’d love the Pixies or a Liam Gallagher. If a group like Sterephonics are around, then yeah!

I posted about Tame Impala recently - how I was surprised I really had not heard of them, right after they pretty much sold out Boston Garden. So there’s another band (although it’s really just the one guy) that is doing just fine, and may be ‘too big’ to be an opener.

I thought they were great in 2017 in Stockholm. Saw them open for the Stones here in Helsinki back in 2003 as well, along with ZZ Top.
Looking forward to seeing The Hellacopters at a club show here in less than two weeks.

Kaleo opened for the Stones in AZ 2019 and has a show in London June 24th. Free date on 25th. A possibility for London?
Also, I saw Kaleo in AZ 2019 and last night in Chicago. Good band that originally hails from Iceland.

Yeah Tame Impala is headlining festivals. They are WAY to big. Also not suitable for a Stones warm up, and also not suitable for playing in the daylight.
