Thanks for all the videos, Silver Dagger! I was too busy having a blast to take many this time!

I listened through a couple of tracks by headphones. That bass player
should join the Stones. His sound reminds of Bill Wyman.

Did anyone see Nate? I know someone knew him.

It was a blast playing, although I was a little rusty not having played or sung on stage for four years. It was great, though, and the audience really helped us through it thumbs up

I'm paying the price with a positive covid-test now, but I'll be fine.

Thanks to everyone who came down and made this a beautiful Stones night smiling smiley

A belated thanks to all the boys in the IORR Band for a fantastic evening, though am very sorry to hear that you ended up with COVID, Dandelion P. Sending all positive wishes for a speedy recovery. Keep us posted, please.

Aw, damn Dandy. That’s a lousy reward for your fine performance. There were a number of cases after Amsterdam too - including me. It’s still out there. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Big thanks to Mike and everyone else who has posted videos, of what was obviously a terrific gig.

Well done to Bard and all the guys, and gals if any, in this great IORR Band. smileys with beer

I’d like to add a big thanks from me too. It was your usual strong performance and I would never have guessed you hadn’t performed live in 4 years. A great comeback thumbs up

It’s been a great project and hopefully not the last time. The H&A basement was packed on Friday night so it looks like the secret’s getting out winking smiley

As for the Covid, oh dear and I wish you a full and fast recovery. I’m feeling rough myself with a shivery temperature and loss of appetite and may also have Covid. Still breathing fine and taste and smell fine so maybe it isn’t Covid. A lot of people have been catching all sorts of things at large scale events, Covid or not. But life must resume sooner or later. In just over a month I’ve been to the Scottish Cup Final in Glasgow and the Stones in Liverpool and Hyde Park, all with crowds of 50-60,000 and associated social.

I’m sorry to hear that. Hope you feel better soon.

However —

As much as I hoped I would attend the H&A gathering and celebrate the Stones’ return to London with other fans to the performance of the IORR band, that’s why I refrained from attending. An event at a small indoor venue, standing shoulder to shoulder in the crowd — that would be a scenario of a disaster waiting to happen. I just didn’t mention it on the forum before the show as I didn’t want to dampen the feeling of many IORRians who were looking forward to the event.

First: hope you are all right now, SomeTrontGirl. Second: this is what you posted on the “Amsterdam and Bern shows postponed due to Mick Jagger testing positive for Covid” thread on June 15:

Members of the tour band obviously don't take it too seriously and take selfies with fans - without masks

Call it a hunch, but I think that’s over.

What else could I say, “Well I told you so”?

What a great night it was! It sure was hot as hell on that stage....

A big thank you to the band, and a big thank you to all who made the effort to see the gig.

And judging from the Hyde Park show the Stones will continue touring for another 20 years, and so will the IORR Band!

Yep - it's Little Queenie.

Hm, Mick Jagger got rid of his beard.

Please send it to Chuck! Maybe he'll find a way to inspire the band to play this set
as well.
