just believe me: you don't really want to know the price (but be ready to add some 300-500 Euros to the regular ticket price, maybe even more)

As if the prices weren't ridiculous enough as it is...well I suppose there will always be people who've never seen them and who are ready to splurge since it might be the last time...

Some people are saying that in Amsterdam in 2017, the Pit VIP packages would have included early entry. Not sure, just something I read on Facebook.

don't let them rip you off
(those VIP packages don't contain anything but useless and cheap stuff)

The VIP packages are totally overrated, overpriced and give you useless trinkets that even your kids don't want. Buy the pit ticket or seat you want and nothing else...there was a day in the early 2000's when you could still get VIP packages that included backstage tours, unlimited drinks and appetizers but those days are long gone with Stones tours.

VIP tickets are how Ticketmaster makes more money by deterring some scalped tickets.

Example: Scalpers buy the $500 non-VIP tickets and mark them up to $800. Ticketmaster sells VIP seats for $800 ($500 seats with a poster or free download or something worth $10).

This way Ticketmaster and the band make more money and take tickets out of scalpers’ hands. They have been pretty efficient about this in the last few years.

I don't know about pit early entry, but in 2017 for Amsterdam, I had early entry for Gold Circle right outside the pit.

I am still fighting with ticketmaster over my 3 VIP Pit tickets in Vegas. Never got the merchandise after emailing them for 3 months. My creditcard is going after them for price difference between regular Pit tickets and VIP Pits. So be advised not to expect the merchandise. I was able to buy off eBay most of a package, and the stuff is cheap and not worth more than $20. I am still glad I was able to purchase Pit tickets for Vegas, in that regard it was worth it, but ticketmaster is a ripoff as far as the merchandise is concerned.

early entry for the pit is absolute pointless since the pit is not overcrowed. It usually fills half an hour before the show. Getting to the rail in the pit doesn't make much sense either – unless you enjoy an obstructed view (since the stage is usually relatively high)

I might treat myself and go for one of these hotel/vip ticket packages. I’ve only had a golden ticket before at Cardiff.

But recently retired it will be part of my 65th birthday treat.

If you're really short, the front or near it is the only way though. I hope the new stage is a bit lower this time.
Or, next to the ramp, going to the B-stage.

What is said for the Diamond VIP experience in Hyde Park 1 this year :
- Diamond ticket (so ok, main topic)
- dedicated entrance (wow, no value)
- entry up to one hour before others (up to one, not one, let's see)
- access to Summer Garden (bars, food, seats, toilets, claokroom) that is a real +
- possible to go in and out, including general admission (no sense)
No reference to any gift.
Enjoy

Diamond VIP for Hyde Park is not a VIP package but what they do for most of their shows to separate the crowd, limit the stage crush and generate extra revenue for those willing to pay. Getting in early (have been there before) is an hour early to get a spot, relax in the garden, get food etc. The dedicated entrance also very nice. A line with 50 people nicer than a line with 3,000 going in.

Please. How utterly tasteless. And yet, I suspect, you derive a perverse pleasure in being admonished.

Why would anyone pay so much for so little? They're wrinkly old men. They don't even play as well as they once did. What are you paying to see? Charlie, now Steve, is set so far back you probably couldn't see them anyway. I'd be more interested, if I still went to Stones concerts, to get about halfway back on the floor to have a good audio experience.

Why do some people come out of the woodwork, now that we are all geared up and planning where and when we will see The Rolling Stones live on stage.................... and they just moan and groan about it all.

Most of us are really looking forward to June and July 2022,and I honestly think The Rolling Stones as well, as I'm pretty sure that 2022 will see the last year of having the opportunity to see the band play live on stage smileys with beer

Yeah. Why don’t The Stones just quit playing and stop torturing us? Haha! Man, some of you are a piece of work!

I had Golden Circle VIP in Amsterdam and we were escorted into the venue in rows of two people while the Stones were still doing Soundcheck but we had to wait inside behind some doors until they finished. I am pretty sure this was only Golden Circle and Pit VIP didn't have early Entry.

I remember there was early entry in Werchter 2007...
