For Gelsenkirchen I need no Hotel. It´s not far away from my hometown Duisburg.

I think I´m going with many Stonefriends to Gelsenkirchen. It´s easy by train from the main Station Duisburg to the main station Gelsenkirchen. From the main station Gelsenkirchen you can take a tram to the football stadium from Schalke 04.

Gents, as I am living in Gelsenkirchen I would be happy to help if there are any inquiries.
In general, infrastructure is good as it is used to football matches. If you like short ways stay in the northern part, there are some hotels and the better restaurants.
cheers

How are the acoustics ?

Bad.
On the upper levels there is usually a terrible echo from the concrete behind you and the remainder of the roof, if the roof is not closed altogether.
Of course it also depends on the sound system used and the number of people attending

Lower levels up to the middle of the field/soundbooth might be okay...

Any info on ticket prices?

Yes, oit's the same strange layout like 2018. Pit, seated sections (A1-A5), standing. Pit was 799 Euro in 2018.

for whatever reason – this layout with reserved seating on behind the pit is (and has) only been used in Germany (or at least nowhere else in Europe)

Good question, is PK1 pit? If so it would be cheaper than expected for Germany lol

Re: Gelsenkirchen Germany 2022 - Stones travel and show info

I expected it to be a little lower, most shows pit is lower. Lucky dip expensive though.

I think PK 1 is pit, PK2 best seats, PK 4 of 5 silver pit, PK 6 or 7 standing GA

Last time there were 66 euro each already in Germany. Scotland one year later was 30 pound each.

I also do not understand waht they mean.
Silver Pit standing prices should not be over 200 EUR as there seem to be seats around the middle walk on these german stadium for the silver pit is further away that if they were not used.

that's exactly what worries me. LD tickets even the fact that there is something like LD tickets used to be some secret only insiders knew about. And now it's in the mainstream press.

Why worry about ? Equal chance for everyone who's planning to attend the show probably...

It‘s still hard to find out when and where to buy them. The casual fan will not expect them behind a special link on a certain website during the general sale. I think it‘s still a good enough kept secret the be able to score some.

Wait what, special link? Now you confused me, how will I be able to find the Lucky Dips then? Only by going over the Stones official website?

I know about LD tickets, thank you.
And I'm glad, that whoever is clever enough to figure out, might be able to get one.
