absolutely, i hope nobody truly believes jagger cares about our voting right? is a bit like the choirs, telling us where he ate in terrible approximate languages,all a PR ruse which quite frankly he should do without.ballads are often voted because he needs a break and that's make sense. he cannot shout and jump for two hours! like the richard's songs, all part of his recovery routine. dont forget when they were truly the stones jagger used to sing happy himself, with keef.and honestly it would be such a relief to NOT have to endure keef singing! but hey...

Does any of you locals know if there are many restaurants around the stadium?

No restaurants around as the idea is to build a whole area where people will have no other choice than eating, drinking, sleeping in the OL Valley complex

But there will be some appointed food trucks (and if it's like for regular football matches, you may find something good to eat)

Believe it or not I may not go to the show tomorrow as I no longer do well in that kind of heat. I have tickets, but we shall see.. I may simply have a nice dinner and listen to the show on social media

It's a shame, a real shame to be there and not go to the concert

I never cared about the voting. They play what they want, may be they look at the votes for hints, but I think Mick decide on what to sing based on how he is feeling on the day.

I always thought it was a gimmicky scam as do most people, but it's sort of fun to play along and pretend it's actually legitimate.

Same mood here, train at 7, 40 degres, saw them 3 times this year and Paris is my home town so i"ll be there on saturday...
Very weird sensation

Just arrive late and you will be fine. Most people can take 35 degrees with no direct sun pretty good as long as you drink enough and take it very easy.

Waiting in the direct sun (even if one hour), drinking alcohol etc. Not so smart. Suprised there are no additional measures from the organization.

Lots of people will be not smart and faint tommorrow (best case scenario). It will be brutal. Take care and act smart.

Hope you all get a good show and be safe.

Heatwave - why don't they simply postpone everything by 1 hour?

It's still 37°C at 6pm when the doors normally open. According to the weather-forecast it'll be 33-28°C from 9pm to 00am which is more bearable. Curfew? The city of Lyon should make an exception due to the heat.

Outdoor shows in the middle of summer seem like a bad idea now. Extreme heat advisories and wild fires threatening our very lives today

CNN in the US has been reporting about the massive heatwaves across the UK and Europe including France, though there was no specific mention of Lyon.

It's 11pm and still pretty warm. If you buy a 24-hours-ticket for public transport (6 Euro) use a tram to cool down again and again - good air condition!
