I'm looking for a good map of the stadium/layout. The version at ticketmaster isn't that clear.

Just scored Lucky Dips for Lyon. I am in US (Boston) so hopefully making the trip over. Just booked 2 nights at the Marriott Lyon Hotel Cite' (looks to be 10 miles or so from the stadium?). Lyon looks to be really lovely - would be very interested to hear from anyone in the area, or who has been, any info. on the city - Best things to see/do etc.
Very likely will fly in and out of Paris. I assume there are trains between the two cities?

There is a regular Tram T7 that brings you 7 minutes walk from the Stadium Main Gate. the name of the station is Groupama OL Training Center

You can find details here (in english) : [www.tcl.fr]

There are some special trams put in place for this event that leaves from a dedicated station close to the Central Station (Tramway Lyon Part-Dieu Villette Sud ) that you can book on the stadium site (5€)

Details here : [billetterie.groupama-stadium.com]

Great that restrictions may have been dropped. What I'm trying to work out though is whether I need the booster shot as well as the two vaccinations to enter France. It's not not clear to me on the Government website. Can anyone help?

Keeffan, here's the English page on the French Ministry of Interior :

"For unvaccinated travellers, the obligation to present a negative test to travel to France remains, but the measures on arrival (test, isolation) are lifted when they come from countries on the "green" list, characterized by a moderate circulation of the virus.

When unvaccinated travelers come from a country on the "orange" list, they must continue to present a compelling reason justifying the need for them to come to mainland France and may still be subject to a random test on arrival. Travelers who test positive will have to isolate themselves, in accordance with the recommendations of the Health Insurance."

I’ll say this - been looking at YouTube videos of Lyon, which looks amazing - but THE FOOD - OMG. As a city that claims to have even better food than Paris - wow. Anthony Bourdain has one of his shows that was on CNN in Lyon that is well worth a look, but even some others of just regular folks showcasing the shops with the pastries, and then the Bouchons….just looks unbelievable!

Friend mentioned to check out Dordogne between Lyon and Bordeaux if any of you have the time (about 4 hour drive from Lyon) for its truffles

According to setlist.fm the last time the Stones played in Lyon was in 2007. Before that they played Lyon in 1982. So it has been 25 and 15 years between shows. Should be a great one this year!

Interesting. Both pits, Golden Circle, etc. available for Lyon again. For the longest time, all they had were seats all the way back.
