Is there any of you here from Brussels?
Will the Metro stop operating at midnight on concert days, too?
What's the best alternative to get back to the city centre after the show?

Thank you kindly!

And any tips for parking?

In 2005 it was a nightmare - leaving the parking area took hours.

But judging from google earth, some construction work has been done in the area. We will take the train anyway.

The last metro leaves around 0H30...
It should be no problem.

I’m going to this one. However I haven’t been out travelling for years. I bought this package deal with bus ride from Denmark and back. Ticket included. So Friday evening before the Monday show the bus starts. We arrive in Belgium Saturday morning or early at noon. Probably the hotel is in Genk. My question is: How much money for food and the like would I realistically spend when it’s almost 3 full days in Belgium? As I said, I’ve not been travelling for a long time, so I don’t really know.

Why a hotel in Genk, it’s about a 100km from Brussels.

I’m not planning the trip. I bought a package deal from an event company.

It all depends on your needs & likings off course...

Worldwide chains (KFC, McD, Starbucks, BK, and the likes) are found & cost roughly the same everywhere.

Three-course meals will be 50 to 60 € p.p., approx.
Main dishes go from 20 to 40 €.
bottle of house wine: 20 to 35 €
Pizza's, pasta's: 10 to 20 €
a good(!) shoarma: less than 10 € p.p. (incl. drinks)
snacks ranging from 30 cm. baguettes to fries/chips at the 'friterie' are from 2 to 5 €...

Draft pils/ lager beer (standard 25 cl) are 2,50 €
craft beers (bottles - 33 cl.) are 3,50 € all the way up to 5 €
glas of wine (in a bar): from 6 to 10 € (depends on the wine - and the bar...)
coffee (standard coffee, in cafés; not the hipster shizzle) is 3 €

Bus fares (public transport) is 2,5 €

If you're a smoker: a box of 20 cigs is 6,50 €

All these things, obviously, are in a inner city / standard living context.
Rest assured the beers at the stadium will be WAY more expensive (as will the snacks & meals).

I a m really looking forward to the Brussels gig and pray that Covid doesn't stop it taking place.

we are travelling over from Manchester and wondering if there are any pre or post gig parties due to take place put on by fans. Never been to Brussels so any hints or tips of good bars/clubs would be helpful.

Hello,

Has anyone been able to access their tickets for this concert from the Belgian ticketmaster website?
I keep checking all the time and it says "tickets not ready yet."

Should I be concerned?
